Our Farm

Stonefence Farm is nestled on 12 acres in central Pennsylvania.  Located not far off Route 322 between State College and Harrisburg in Centre County, we are only 20 minutes from the center of State College, 10 minutes from Boalsburg, and 1 hour from Harrisburg.

Stables 

We have 2 main barns on premises plus an overflow small pony barn. The original barn is a warm bank barn with 10 extra  large and roomy stalls, and 5 normal size stalls. All stalls have floor mats. Barn 2 is the upper barn, part of a new construction as an annex on the indoor ring.  This barn was completed in 2004, all 7 stalls are 10 x 12 with stall mats as well. Both barns have aisle cross ties, and the upper barn has an indoor wash stall.  The upper barn also has a heated tack and viewing room with windows to observe the indoor ring. 

Rings

Stonefence Farm has 2 rings.  The outdoor ring is a fenced 100 x 170 foot oval with limestone screening/sand for footing and a full course of show quality fences. The indoor ring is in a brightly lit Morten building and is 72 x 150 feet with sand footing.

Turnout

Stonefence Farm has 3 pastures for small group turnout , and 5  three-rail electrified wooden fencing paddocks for 1 or 2 horse turnout. There is also one moveable round pen. Horses are alternated between pasture and paddock turnout daily depending on their individual needs and weather conditions.

In addition to the indoor warm water wash stall, there is a second outdoor wash area for summertime use. Stonefence Farm is a short and easy hack away from miles of state gameland trails if you are a trail riding enthusiast or just want a change from riding in the ring.
